Aerobic steps
Are standard aerobics not challenging you enough? Need something that

Step aerobics will often challenge even the most aerobically
fit person and has enough variation and adjustment to suit all interest and intensity levels. From the
beginner on a six inch step who simply steps up and down to the advanced with a ten inch step who performs an
entire aerobic routine; aerobic steps can satisfy everyone.
Aerobic steps, like all aerobic activities can
greatly improve your health, improve your sleep and provide and overall sense of well being. These benefits
are largely due to the increased oxygenation of the blood, muscles and organs that occur with the increase in heart
rate while exercising. When the body gets used to a certain level of exercise it is important to increase the
intensity so that the heart continues to work at 70 to 80 percent; step aerobics is often just the exercise that can accomplish this.
Aerobic steps are affordable and easily stored when not in use and many of them are adjustable as well.
For less impact on the knees and feet you will want to invest in good shock absorbing shoes to wear.
Many classes are held in fitness centers; however, with a few good videos you can workout from the comfort of your
own home. Your routine can be as simple or complicated as you desire.
